Does anyone out there have an opinion about which wireless notebook card is a particularly worth
buying these days? It doesn’t need to be the latest and fastest standard (whatever that might be
this montih), just 802.11b compatible and not too expensive (since for now it’ll only see occasional
use during travel). Oh, and it’s gotta work with Windows 98SE.

IMO, you can’t really go wrong with any Netgear card. That’s what woj and I have and [knock knock] we haven’t had any problems with them so far (though admittedly we’re running XP).
We’re using Linksys cards here. Gs rather than Bs, because even though the hub is only a B, because the G cards get much better reception than the B cards.
