Irish traditional music. I end up using that particular abbreviation for it because I’ve been subscribed to the IRTRAD-L listserve for a several years now. I actually tend to like all sorts of celtic music, but my favorite stuff is the Irish, and within that I lean toward the “pure drop” side of things by preference.
I thought that must be what it was, but I’m not familiar with that abbreviation.
My inner Celt is definitely a Scot.
