Last night’s Throwing Muses show at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC was mighty fine, as wojsvenwoj mentions here. Having 50 Foot Wave as the first opener was a very nice bonus, but the main attraction was definitely Throwing Muses. David Narcizo is just an amazing drummer, and having him up there with Kristin and Bernie again was a real treat. I was also quickly reminded of just how many TM songs make me think, “God, this song is fucking great!” Hopefully they will indeed to another round of shows in a couple of years. This one was certainly worth the long trip down to NYC and getting home at quarter of 4 in the morning. My thanks to woj for driving the New Haven to Manhattan part of the trip, and for getting us past the all-too-common I-95 accident on the way home just before they closed the highway entirely.

i haven’t found anything about that accident in the news. have you?
I checked earlier and got nothing, but just now my Google-fu uncovered this from the Boston Globe:
Woman killed on I-95 in Greenwich
From what it says, it was a pretty frikkin’ nasty incident, and what I saw probably was a body after all.
ugh. damn. guess that would explain the lack of wrecked cars at the scene.
Yep. I especially like the part where neither the person who hit her nor any of the people who then ran her over stopped afterwards. People are just great.
i hate people.
