{"id":71,"date":"2005-02-21T17:28:00","date_gmt":"2005-02-21T23:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/of2minds.org\/michael\/?p=71"},"modified":"2005-02-21T17:28:00","modified_gmt":"2005-02-21T23:28:00","slug":"boskone-2005","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/of2minds.org\/michael\/2005\/02\/21\/boskone-2005\/","title":{"rendered":"Boskone 2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, another <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nesfa.org\/boskone\/\">Boskone<\/a> attended, another fun time had.  <\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact that I actively didn&#8217;t like their pick for Guest of Honor (Orson Scott Card, ugh!), and only found three things that I wanted to attend (an excellent lecture by <a href=\"http:\/\/members.tripod.com\/~voxish\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alastair Reynolds<\/a> called &#8220;Reimagining Space Opera,&#8221; a panel moderated by <a href=\"http:\/\/suricattus.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">suricattus<\/a> about food and authors, and a reading by <a href=\"http:\/\/suricattus.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">suricattus<\/a>), I still had a good time thanks to the cool people I was able to hang out with, both in the hotel bar and elsewhere.
