I’ve now got tickets to see the excellent Christine Fellows open for The Mountain Goats at the Pearl Street Night Club in Northampton on September 24th. I was starting to think I’d never have the chance to see her play live, so I’m really looking forward to the show (even if I’m likely to not stay for the main act).

and you know what? the mountain goats aren’t bad at all. dunno if will want to stick around for them, but i do.
I went and listened to some of their stuff, and while they’re not a band I’d at all mind sitting through if they were the ones opening the show, I don’t know if I like ’em enough to stay for their whole set once I’ve seen Christine’s.
